Adding Images to Your Comic

Images add visual interest and context to your comics. Genko Comic supports various image formats and provides powerful tools for positioning and editing.

Adding Images

Method 1: Upload from File

  1. Click the comic panel you want to embed the image with
  2. Click the "Add Image" button in the main command bar
  3. Select "Upload from Computer" from the menu
  4. Choose your image file from the file picker
  5. Click "Open" to add the image to your canvas

Method 2: Drag and Drop

  1. Locate your image file on your computer
  2. Drag the file from your file explorer
  3. Drop it directly onto inside panel
  4. The image will appear at the drop location panel

Double click inside comic panel and drag any image to reposition within panel.

Unlock the panel first then single click a panel and drag the corner handles to resize. You can even rotate and move it too

  • Choose images that complement your comic style
  • Consider file size - large images may slow down your project

Only use images you have permission to use. Genko Comic does not provide stock images - you'll need to source your own graphics and illustrations.
