3. Comic Creation and Content
3.1 User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of the comics and other content you create using our Service. However, by uploading or creating content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Service.
3.2 Content Standards
You agree not to create or upload content that is illegal, harmful, offensive, or violates the rights of others. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these standards.
3.3 Backup and Storage
While we strive to maintain the security of your content, you are responsible for backing up your work. We are not liable for any loss of data.
4. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
- Distribute malware or harmful content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our written consent
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Our Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
5.2 User Content Rights
You retain ownership of your original content. By using our Service, you grant us the rights necessary to provide the Service to you.

7. Payment and Billing
7.1 Paid Services
Some features of our Service require payment. You agree to pay all fees associated with your chosen subscription plan as shown at /pricing and at checkout. Fees are billed in advance per billing cycle.
7.2 Billing
Billing cycles are monthly or annual, depending on your plan. Payments are processed securely through our authorized payment processors:
- Whop — current Merchant of Record for all new subscriptions (cards and supported methods)
- MoonPay — crypto asset payments; blockchain transactions are irreversible
- LemonSqueezy — legacy processor, now deprecated for new purchases and retained only for existing active subscribers
You authorize the applicable processor to charge your selected payment method on each renewal until you cancel.
7.3 Refunds — All Sales Final
All fees are non-refundable and all sales final once access is granted, including Whop and LemonSqueezy subscription fees and, in particular, MoonPay crypto payments which are non-reversible on-chain under any circumstances. See our Return & Refund Policy for full details.
You may cancel at any time via the Whop customer portal (or LemonSqueezy portal for legacy) to stop future renewals; cancellation does not generate a refund for the current period. Access continues until the end of the paid period with no prorated refunds for mid-cycle cancellations, downgrades, or non-use.
Exceptions are reviewed solely for genuine billing errors (duplicate charge, charge after timely cancellation, or fraud) reported within 7 days to support@genkomik.com. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, except MoonPay on-chain transfers which cannot be refunded and may only be resolved as service credit at our discretion.
8. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaim all warranties.
In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
